San Diego Trip

For Christmas M's parents gave every family a trip to San Diego during the year. We went right before E's birthday and had so much fun. My kids are at such great ages. It kinda makes me wonder why I want another baby :)

The kids at Sea World.

At the Coronado Beach. The water was FREEZING!
"World Famous" San Diego zoo.
At a Padre's game. We had awesome seats. I think the kids most enjoyed watching the Friar dance and eating treats.

Family Reunion

We went to our family reunion at Yuba Lake this year. Unfortunately we were only able to go for a day but it was still fun to take the wave runners out and see family we hadn't seen for a while.

Cousin K posing for a picture.
I just had to include this one!
E with her Daddy and a full mouth of candy.

E's Princess Camp

E did a "Princess Camp" at the place she takes dance. They learned a cute Sleeping Beauty dance and performed it to the families.

Sewing Stuff

Here's my latest projects. I made all of them without a pattern, which always makes me feel proud of myself.

I got the idea from a shabby apple dress.

Start Spreading the News...

Hahaha. No, I am not pregnant. Just singing that Frank Sinatra Song "New York". M and I just got back from NYC. Here are the pictures:

A T-Rex skeleton at the Natural History Museum. There were soooo many dinosaur bones. B would have been in heaven!

Teddy Roosevelt statue outside the museum entrance. We told B he was the same guy from "Night at the Museum". He thought that was pretty cool.
Me sitting on a park bench in the middle of Amsterdam Ave. eating an H and H bagel. Mmmm. My mouth is watering just thinking of it!
We went to Coney Island for our first time. We've been to NY a few times but had never made it down there. It was pretty fun! We ate at the Original Nathan's Hotdogs. It was the best hotdog I have ever had!
Me at the beach on Coney Island. Maybe we could take the kids with us some day. But for now it's fun to go with just M and me.

The 4th of July

I love the 4th of July! I have always loved going to all of the festivities put on by Kaysville. I always look forward to the day and I always get teary when the veterans come by during the parade.

The kids in their patriotic clothes

Up at Grandma H's. We go up to Grandma's for a potluck after the parade.
Waiting for the fireworks there was a BEAUTIFUL sunset.
Me and the kids snuggled up during the fireworks.

In the MEEB's Yard

Tonight we had our cousins from Idaho here to play. It was a nice evening to be outside!

Playing Baseball
We picked some strawberries and raspberries from our back yard. The kids were happy to eat them right off the vine. I love when they want to eat healthy!
I think those raspberries were a little sour!
