Me Interviewing... Me

So, for those of you who don't see me a lot, I have been trying to get pregnant for 15 months. So I decided to interview myself about it. That way you won't have to wonder :)

Q: Did it take you a long time to get pregnant with B and E?
A: It took about 6 months with B and 1 month with E.

Q:Have you been to a doctor about it?
A: Yes, she thinks it's possible that I have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I have all the symptoms without the glucose problems.

Q: Are you doing fertility treatments?
A: Yes. I have taken clomid twice and femara once. It's really not very fun. I am so moody and grumpy on the clomid.

Q:Are you worried about having multiples?
A: Yes, my sister had twins while taking clomid. But I just have to have faith that if Heavenly Father wants me to have twins, I would have them whether I am doing fertility treatments or not. Also, at this point, I will take whatever I can get.

Q: Would you consider adopting?
A: I will give it a few more months before I think about it. It would be easier not to be pregnant, though!

Q: How are you feeling about it all?
A: Most of the time I'm doing OK. It all has to do with that having faith that Heavenly Father knows what is best for us in our family. It will all work out how it is supposed to. But sometimes I do cry and get sad about it. I know that there are lots of people out there who wait a lot longer and I am grateful that I already have two amazing kids who I love and who keep me busy.

So there you have it. Now you don't have to wonder if we are having anymore kids. And why Erica is almost 4 and we don't have another yet. But if you ever have more questions, just ask. I am not too sensitive about it.

we have been through a similar situation. I got Wes with clomid. if you ever want to talk or anything, just call. We have tried EVERYTHING from fertility drugs to fertility monitors, etc. I know the emotional hardship it can be. give me a call. it could be as simple as timing! I feel like I could be a OB with all the stuff I know:) Anyway just call if you wanna talk!

Erin, you are amazing sis! I know I shed a lot more tears trying to get Trinitie. It's a tough road but you have a great attitude. Hang in there! Thanks for sharing.

Wow Erin I had no idea. I'm so sorry. There are so many families in our ward with fertility problems, it's really made me more aware of what some people have to go through (then i feel bad for obvious reasons.) I pray things work out for you guys soon!!!!!!

Erin, We've been trying for a year and a half. Two miscarriages and a tubal pregnancy later and somehow we still keep hope in our hearts. Sometimes I feel regretful that we waited until now. But, I think you're right - it will happen when it's meant to. If you ever need to talk, I'm here for ya! I know how difficult it can be, but it does help to talk about it. {hugs}
